From here, a dialog box will appear over the Gradebook that shows you the student's submission, as pictured in the following screenshot:

Click on the More Details in the SpeedGrader link that appears in this dialog box to view the entire assignment in the SpeedGrader.

Tip

You can also access the SpeedGrader from the To Do list that appears on your Canvas home page and on the home pages for each course you teach. The To Do list appears on the right-hand side of the course home page with the calendar and Coming Up sections. As students submit assignments, you will see the name of each assignment appear under your To Do list along with the number of assignments that need to be graded. To open the SpeedGrader for assignments that need to be graded, you can click on the assignment link that appears on your To Do list.
